  • Sightseeing: Check out the Verde River down Perkinsville Road (unpaved) in Chino Valley and find an oasis for outdoor fun including: ATV use, picnicing, fishing, and photography.
  • Off-Road: Chino Valley has many unpaved roads  for off-road enthusiasts. Perkinsville Road, is unpaved but easily accessible with a standard car or truck will take you directly to the town of Williams. 
  • Hiking/Biking trails: check out Prescott Circle Trail system or the Trails.com for information.   
  • Abundant Lakes: just minutes from the Primrose Inn including Watson Lake,  Willow Lake, or Granite Basin Lake, Goldwater Lake  great for boating, kayaking, fishing or bird watching.
  • Golf!  We are minutes from one of the most beautiful courses in Arizona, Antelope Hills Golf Course.  Many more courses just minutes from us.

lavender farm & Tea House

Taking a visit to the lavender farm brings you a sense of tranquility from the sweet smells of lavender, the fresh produce growing on site and the cute tea house where specialty tea is available.  The first and third Saturdays of each month, they open the farm and tea house by reservation only and tea parties and luncheons.  It's a wonderful place to visit and explore and the lavender tea, cookies and jelly's are something you must try.  Tea service and lunch is provided by reservation only. 


Looking for some great entertainment while in town?  Our Yavapai College Performing Arts Center offers live performances by nationally known entertainers, musicians and comedians.

The Elks Theatre & Performing Arts Center offers entertainment throughout the year too!

Join AZ Gravel Rides and the Town of Chino Valley during Arizona's most unique one day cycling event on May 6, 2017. The course is a 106 mile-long from Chino Valley to Elk Ridge Ski Area near Williams, Arizona and back. The course is run through the Prescott and Kaibab National Forests.
